A Technics model RS-B305 stereo cassette deck, manufactured in Japan by Matsushita Electric Industrial Co., Ltd. This solid-state audio component is finished in black and features a 2-motor microprocessor logic control system. The front panel is equipped with a three-digit mechanical tape counter and reset button, dual-channel fluorescent peak level meters, and a large rotary input level control. User adjustments include push-button selectors for tape type (Type I Normal, Type II CrO2, and Type IV Metal) and Dolby B-C noise reduction settings.
