Lot 94:
Description
A small, hand-formed studio art glass figurine depicting a stylised snail or aquatic creature. The piece is executed in translucent aqua-blue glass, featuring a tightly coiled spiral body with three integral protruding appendages. The surface is finished with an all-over metallic iridescence, reflecting a spectrum of colours typical of the Art Nouveau tradition. This paperweight demonstrates a fluid, organic form characteristic of late 19th and early 20th-century glassmaking aesthetics. No maker’s marks, signatures, or pontil marks are present. Dimensions: Approximately 7.5 cm x 9 cm.
