Matchbox, Thunderbirds Die-cast Metal Spacecraft Models, TB1 and TB3, c. 1992

A group of three die-cast metal toy spacecraft from the Gerry Anderson television series Thunderbirds, manufactured by Matchbox. This lot includes one Thunderbird 1 (TB1) and two Thunderbird 3 (TB3) models. The Thunderbird 1 rocket is finished in a black and blue colour scheme, featuring a black main body and nose with blue fins and base, marked with TB1 and the number 1. The two Thunderbird 3 rockets are finished in red with black mid-sections and white lettering along the fuselage reading THUNDER BIRD and the number 3. These models were released as part of the 1990s commemorative range following the series’ resurgence in popularity. Each model measures approximately 10 cm in length.
