Maisto Shell Sportscar Collection Die-Cast Models, c. 1990s.

A group of 4 promotional die-cast models manufactured by Maisto for the Shell Sportscar Collection and Classic Sportscar Collection. Each vehicle is constructed from Netal with plastic wheels, interiors, and baseplates. The lot consists of a Porsche 911 Speedster finished in white with black side graphics, a Lamborghini Diablo in bright yellow, a BMW Z1 in silver, and a Mercedes-Benz 500 SL finished in maroon with a tan interior. All vehicles feature standard free-rolling wheel mechanisms and are housed in their original yellow window display boxes featuring the red Shell pecten logo. These models were originally released as part of a popular petrol station promotional series during the early 1990s.
