Shell Maisto Sportscar Collection Die-cast Model Cars, Circa 1991

This lot features four promotional die-cast model cars from the Shell Sportscar Collection, manufactured by Maisto. Each model is constructed from metal with plastic interior components and glazing. The set includes an Aston Martin Virage in dark green, a silver Jaguar XJS V12 convertible with a blue top boot, a silver Lotus Esprit, and a blue Lotus Elan convertible. These items were originally distributed through Shell petrol stations as part of a popular 1991 marketing campaign. The packaging consists of the original bright yellow window boxes featuring the red and yellow Shell pecten logo and the text SPORTSCAR COLLECTION.
