The piece is crafted from deep cobalt blue glass, featuring a heavily textured onion skin iridescent finish that displays a vibrant spectrum of metallic lustres including gold, magenta, and emerald green. The form consists of a rounded body tapering to a pointed tail, with a small head and an applied clear glass beak. The underside features a professionally ground and polished circular pontil mark.
