Vintage Carpenter's Pine Tool Chest and Assorted Hand Tools

COLLECTION ONLY. A vintage portable wooden carpenter’s or tradesman’s toolbox, constructed from solid pine with a dark green painted exterior and natural wood interior. The chest features a drop-front panel with an integrated saw holder and two small internal upper drawers, fitted with a thick leather carry handle and metal hardware. The comprehensive contents include various wooden-bodied moulding and block planes, a large wooden-headed mallet with a faceted face, a hand saw with a carved wooden handle and brass hardware, a metal brace, and numerous wood-handled screwdrivers, chisels, and awls. Mechanical tools comprise an antique multi-size flat wrench, a modern chrome-plated open-end wrench, various metal files, and a sharpening oilstone. Also included is vintage packaging and ephemera, notably a cardboard box for METWAY Products Buckle Cable Clips (marked Made in England, Brighton), a box for The Gilbert Perfect Stroke Brushes, a blue lubricant tin, and a red-bodied hand-powered drill.
