A Collection of Vintage Cast Brass Horse Brasses on a Leather Martingale Strap

A collection of cast brass horse brasses mounted on a black leather martingale strap. The brasses are cast and feature various traditional motifs including a horse head in profile within a horseshoe frame, a circular frame with a central stylised foliate design, a full-bodied standing heavy horse, a parrot perched on a branch within a bell-shaped frame, and a solid bell-shaped brass with a central clapper design. The black leather backing features a decorative wavy-cut edge and is fitted with a functional metal buckle and leather loop at the top for suspension. No maker’s marks or factory stamps are visible on the front or reverse of the brasses or the leather strap.
