A Ceramic Poinsettia Christmas Tree Centrepiece

A conical Christmas centrepiece moulded from ceramic and finished with cold-painted details. The form consists of a dense arrangement of layered red poinsettia blossoms with gilded centres, accented by green foliate elements and gold-toned spherical ornaments. The entire surface is finished with an antiqued dark wash to highlight the relief details. The item is hollow-cast with a white ceramic body, and the underside of the base is finished in a metallic bronze tone. This design is frequently associated with Atlantic Mold and similar ceramic manufacturers of the late 20th century. A contemporary lot sticker is adhered to the base bearing the handwritten numerals 5847 and the date 20 March 2024.
