US 1944 Jefferson nickel (KM-192a) and 1776-1976 S Kennedy half dollar (KM-205a). Jefferson obverse; Kennedy obverse. The half dollar features the S mint mark for San Francisco. A pair of silver coins presented on a Danbury Mint shipping card. The 1944 nickel is a wartime issue struck in a silver alloy to conserve nickel for the war effort.
