A Set of Four Regency Style Mahogany Dining Chairs

A set of four mahogany dining chairs in the Regency style. Each chair features a curved bar back with a top rail decorated with twin-line boxwood stringing inlay, positioned above a moulded mid-rail. The chairs are fitted with drop-in seats upholstered in a yellow and cream striped fabric accented with vertical floral sprig motifs. The mahogany frames are supported by curved sabre-style front legs and slightly raked rear legs. The construction exhibits standard mortise and tenon joinery. No maker marks, stamps, or labels are visible on the wooden frames. A small white adhesive lot sticker is present on the back of one mid-rail which reads 10372 and 13 March 2024.
