A large storage trunk or blanket chest of rectangular form, constructed from solid pine. The piece features a plank-constructed body and a hinged lid with breadboard ends. The chest is supported by a simple moulded plinth base. The primary wood is pine with a light honey-coloured finish, displaying prominent grain and natural knots. The interior is accessed via two modern metal butt hinges. There are no visible handles, escutcheons, or locking mechanisms.
