A vintage chromatic harmonica manufactured by M. Hohner in Germany, identified as the Super Chromonica model. The instrument features a twelve-hole design and is equipped with a side-mounted slide mechanism. The construction consists of chrome-plated metal cover plates, brass reed plates, and a wooden comb. The top cover plate is embossed with the text SUPER CHROMONICA CHROMATIC M. HOHNER HARMONICA and is marked with the numbers 1 through 12 above the holes. The bottom cover plate features a central diamond-shaped logo containing the text FABRIK GESETZL MARK M. HOHNER, flanked by circular medallions depicting various awards. Below this central design is the text MADE BY GERMANY. Both cover plates are decorated with intricate scrollwork. The instrument is accompanied by its original fitted hardshell case, which is finished in a dark green faux-crocodile skin texture.
