A late 20th-century miniature enamelled brass desk clock

A square-form miniature desk or mantel clock constructed from a cast gold-tone metal case. The front face features a red enamelled ground decorated with raised floral motifs, including white flowers with yellow centres and dark green foliage, enclosed within a repeating foliate scroll border. The circular white dial is set within a beaded bezel and features black Roman numeral hour markers with the word QUARTZ printed above the six o’clock position. The handset consists of black spade-style hour and minute hands and a red sweep second hand. The reverse of the clock displays a stippled, textured metal finish with a central, decorative pierced filigree cover over the movement housing. A small hinged stand is attached to the back for upright display. The timepiece is powered by a battery-operated quartz movement.
