An official Sega Mega Drive control pad, model number 1650, manufactured by Sega Enterprises Ltd. The unit is constructed from moulded black plastic and features a three-button layout. The face of the controller includes a circular directional pad on the left, a yellow Start button in the upper centre, and three primary action buttons labelled A, B, and C on the right. The text Mega Drive Control Pad and Trigger are printed on the casing. The reverse features an embossed panel with the manufacturer details and model number. It is equipped with an integrated black cable terminating in a standard 9-pin D-sub connector.
