A Vintage Lotus de Luxe Double-Strand Graduated Simulated Pearl Necklace with Silver Clasp

A mid-20th-century double-strand graduated simulated pearl necklace by the British manufacturer Lotus, specifically from the Lotus de Luxe range. The necklace is composed of two rows of cream-coloured simulated pearls that graduate in size towards the centre. The decorative box clasp is made of silver and features a safety chain with a hook fastener. The reverse of the clasp is stamped with the literal marks SILVER and LOTUS. The necklace is presented in its original burgundy-coloured presentation box. The interior of the box lid is lined with cream silk-effect material and bears a stylized flower symbol above the text Lotus de luxe.
