A Vintage Cuisenaire Numbers in Colour Wooden Mathematics Teaching Set

A vintage Cuisenaire Numbers in Colour mathematics teaching aid produced by The Cuisenaire Co. Ltd. of 40 Silver St., Reading, Berkshire. The set is housed in a rectangular wooden box with a sliding lid. The interior contains a collection of painted wooden rods in ten varying lengths and colours, including small natural wood cubes and rods in red, pink, brown, orange, blue, yellow, black, and green. The rods are organised within a moulded grey interior tray embossed with the text CUISENAIRE NUMBERS IN COLOUR. The underside of the lid features an illustrated paper label with the set title and manufacturer details, depicting children using the rods. The construction consists of a timber box with a composite or plastic insert and painted wooden components.
