Each piece bears a backstamp in black and pink ink with a crown symbol, the brand name Royal Vale in pink cursive script, and is marked as a product of Ridgway Potteries Ltd, England, with the pattern number 8229.

The second group is an 18-piece Chinese porcelain tea service for six, comprising 6 tea cups, 6 saucers, and 6 side plates. The decoration consists of a transfer-printed floral garland motif featuring pink chrysanthemum-type flowers and green leaves within grey scrolling foliate borders, finished with gilded rims. The base of each piece features a green backstamp depicting a stylized pagoda over hills, accompanied by Chinese characters and the words Made in China.
