Description
An assortment of British and international coins presented in a vintage wooden box. The box is constructed from a light-toned wood with a hinged lid and a metal latch. The lid is branded with an incised cursive inscription reading Hotel Sacher Wien alongside a circular logo for Original Sacher Torte. The coinage is primarily British pre-decimal, spanning the reigns of Queen Victoria, King George V, King George VI, and Queen Elizabeth II. Denominations include copper pennies and halfpennies, brass threepences, and cupro-nickel or silver sixpences, shillings, florins, and half crowns. Notable commemorative pieces include a 1965 Winston Churchill crown and a 1970 New Zealand Captain Cook Bicentenary dollar.
