Description
This collection consists of several silver and silver-alloy coins issued by the UK, Australia, and the US, dating between 1917 and 1944. The group includes three UK Half Crowns: two George V examples dated 1932 and 1936, and one George VI example dated 1942. These feature a crowned shield of arms within a Garter on the reverse. The collection contains multiple Threepence coins, including George V crowned-numeral types dated 1917 and 1918, a George V oak sprig type dated 1932, and a 1944 Australian George VI example with a wheat stalk reverse. A single US 1942 Winged Liberty Head (Mercury) Dime is present, featuring a fasces and olive branch on the reverse. British and Australian coins from these dates are typically composed of .500 fine silver, while the US Dime is composed of .900 fine silver. All coins feature milled edges.
