Three UK 1981 25 Pence (Crown) Coins, Cupro-Nickel, KM-925

Three UK commemorative cupro-nickel 25 pence coins, commonly known as crowns, issued in 1981 to mark the marriage of HRH The Prince of Wales and Lady Diana Spencer. Each specimen is presented in a clear plastic square case with a blue card insert as issued by Barclays Bank. The card inserts feature printed text stating THE ROYAL WEDDING in a curved banner above the coin, with the date JULY 29th 1981 and the issuer BARCLAYS BANK at the base. Two small heraldic symbols are printed in the lower corners of the card. The design visible on the coins consists of conjoined profile portraits of the Prince and Princess.
