A Marigold Carnival Glass Ruffled Bowl Attributed to Fenton in the Peacock and Grapes Pattern

An iridescent marigold carnival glass bowl featuring the Peacock and Grapes pattern, attributed to the Fenton Art Glass Company. The interior is decorated with eight alternating panels: four depicting peacocks with fanned tails and four showing clusters of grapes with vine leaves, all radiating from a central eight-point star medallion. The exterior displays a repeating back pattern of berries and foliage. The piece is constructed from pressed glass with a metallic, iridescent finish showing a spectrum of gold, orange, and reddish-purple tones. The rim is ruffled with a sawtooth edge, and the piece rests on a circular collar base with a moulded star motif to the underside. No maker’s marks are present.
