Description
A collection of tableware comprising two glass goblets with metal mounts and a lidded ceramic vessel with a wooden spoon. The goblets feature clear glass bowls encased in pierced pewter-toned metal frames. The decoration incorporates Art Nouveau and Celtic Revival motifs, including whiplash curves, beaded borders, and interlaced knotwork. The underside of the bases feature an incised mark consisting of a map of Australia with the words Hollis Pewter. The ceramic pot is a redware vessel with a single handle and a domed lid, featuring a feathered slip-trailed decoration in green, cream, and brown. The unglazed base is incised with the words HAND CRAFT MADE. The group is accompanied by a small carved wooden spoon.
