A Pair of Vintage Decorative Cast Brass Miniature Cannons, 20th Century

A pair of brass cannons of differing designs and scales, likely produced as decorative mantelpiece or desk ornaments during the mid-to-late 20th century. The larger cannon features a tapered barrel with simple cast reinforcing rings, mounted on a carriage with large ten-spoke wheels and a solid trail. The smaller cannon is more ornate in design, featuring a multi-banded barrel and smaller eight-spoke wheels detailed with decorative studs on the rims, set upon a split-style trail. Both items are constructed from solid cast brass and lack visible manufacturer hallmarks or serial numbers, which is characteristic of such decorative militaria.
