Smiths Enfield Wood Mantel Clock, Mid-20th Century, Striking Movement

A mid-20th century English mantel clock manufactured by Smiths Enfield. The lot consists of a single clock featuring a rounded-top wood case resting upon two integrated block-style feet. The dial is designed with a silvered chapter ring featuring black Arabic numerals surrounding a central wood-grain panel, clearly marked SMITHS ENFIELD and MADE IN ENGLAND. The face includes two winding arbors and stylised metal hands set behind a hinged chrome-finished bezel with a glass cover. The mechanical striking movement is housed behind a rear wooden door and incorporates a visible spiral gong. Dimensions: Approx. 22cm x 18cm x 11cm.
