Two mid-century items comprising a Capri Pressguss smoked glass ashtray and a ceramic dish

A Capri Pressguss smoked glass ashtray and a mid-century style ceramic dish. The ashtray is constructed from smoked grey-brown pressed glass in a lobed circular form with four cigarette rests and a gilt rim. It features two white transfer-printed butterfly motifs in the interior. The base is embossed with the mark CAPRI PRESSGUSS. The accompanying ceramic dish features a speckled cream glaze with a dark brown painted rim. No maker marks are visible on the upper surface of the ceramic item.
