A miniature decorative miners safety lamp manufactured by Phoenix Supply of Bishopston, Swansea. The item is constructed from brass with a central cylindrical glass chimney. The upper section features an applied oval plaque embossed with a dragon and the words WALES and CYMRU. The lamp includes a screw-off base with an internal wick assembly and a brass suspension hook at the top. The base is stamped with the maker’s mark and location.
