A bulbous-shaped water jug manufactured by Wade for the British Overseas Airways Corporation (BOAC). The piece is constructed from glazed earthenware, featuring a mid-blue exterior and a white interior. The exterior displays a white transfer-printed BOAC logo above a heraldic crest depicting a shield supported by a griffin and a winged sea-lion. The jug incorporates a pinched pouring spout and an integrated handle following the body contour. The base bears the printed mark for Wade Regicor, London, England, flanked by vertical leaf motifs.
