A Mid-20th Century Modernist Earthenware Jug

An earthenware jug of modernist design, featuring a broad, angular pouring spout and a minimalist integrated handle. The vessel is finished in a monochrome matte pale blue glaze without transfer or hand-painted decoration. No manufacturer marks are visible on the body or base. A partial, diamond-shaped paper label is adhered to the side, bearing a handwritten blue character, possibly a 3 or B, though the remainder of the label is torn and illegible. The form is characteristic of mid-20th-century industrial pottery designs, resembling the work of Keith Murray.
